External Commercial Contracts Manager
Germaine brings over seven years of experience in commercial contract management, supporting a leading international retail group across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Her work focuses on the review and management of brand and marketing agreements to ensure commercial fairness, operational feasibility, and alignment with internal financial and supply-chain policies.
She works closely with commercial, finance, supply-chain, and senior management teams to assess contractual and operational risk, including payment structures, procurement requirements, and annual escalations, shipping and delivery models, insurance requirements, returns and warranty positions, and penalty exposure.
In addition to contract reviews, Germaine supports the implementation of legal and regulatory updates into customer-facing policies. Based on guidance from legal counsel, she adapts and coordinates updates to website terms, returns policies, and data-protection disclosures, before obtaining legal clearance and liaising with multichannel teams for publication.
Germaine prepares structured commercial summary papers for internal approvals, facilitates cross-functional sign-off, and coordinates execution following executive approval, including controlled use of authorised electronic signatures. She also supports confidentiality documentation using firm-approved templates and maintains regional contract and brand tracking records to support APAC & UK level reporting and oversight.
She regularly engages with brands and vendors to communicate agreed commercial positions and facilitate amendments in line with internal policy and risk parameters.
